I was looking for some feedback on what brand and colors of paint people use for detail/hand brush painting? I have found Tamiya acrylics are not the best for brush painting and there metalics are not the greatest. I am trying to figure out what to use for detail painting small parts in the car interior as well as engine parts, I have even read of builders brush painting chassis parts as well as gas tanks etc. For flat silvers and steel, gold, copper etc I would think enamel would be best. At my LHS I can select from Humbrol and Model Master enamels as well as the small Testors paint jars. I read many articles but not many people mention the brand of paint they are using just the color.
